What is Reiki

 Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words, rei and ki meaning universal life energy

Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Reiki is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.  Working on the body’s Chakra’s and channelling positive energy into your body, Reiki can have a profound effect on the mind, body and spirit. 

One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefits is stress reduction and  relaxation, which triggers the body’s natural healing abilities (immune system), aids in better sleep and improves and maintains health.  If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. 

A Reiki session is a time for relaxation and calmness where you will feel an energetic connection between me as the Practitioner and you as the client.  

Reiki can be administered 1-1 face to face or by distance.
